SCAMJAM

At 10am on Saturday 1st April 2017 the Young people of Break O’Day will be hosting a Youth Week Event (SCAMJAM) at Scamander Skate Park.
SCAMJAM is a BMX and Scooter expo and competition, which can be entered by any young person (up to 25 years) who has a Scooter or BMX. The event has been designed to showcase the local talents of young people in the Break O’ Day Municipality. This event is FREE for young people to enter, FREE for young people to spectate, FREE for young people to access and there will also be a FREE BBQ that you can enjoy whilst listening to some funky tunes, mixed by a super cool DJ!!

There will be FREE buses running from Fingal with stops in St Marys, Falmouth turnoff, as well as a bus running from St Helens, with stops at the Stieglitz turnoff and Beaumaris. Seats are limited, so booking your seat in essential!!
Competitions are:

  • Under 12 Scooter
  • 3 – Open Scooter
  • 13 – Open BMX

There are some super cool prizes to be won, all thanks to our local legend at Break O’Day Cycles!! This event is FREE for all to enjoy, whether it be to enter the comps, spectate, enjoy the event, sample some yummy food, dance to the DJ or just simply hang out with some mates. Why not!
