Bicheno Food and Wine Festival

  • 此活动已过期。

The Bicheno Food and Wine Festival is well known for its unashamed support of the wonderful food, wine, beer and other local products here on the East Coast and this year will continue that tradition. On top of its main event on the Saturday, the Festival has branched out to include three days of extra activities that will further enhance its visitor experience with a range of additional ‘Signature’ events to make the whole weekend something special.

Saturday’s event gets underway at 10am on the 17th November and will take place at the Lions Park in Bicheno with things winding up from 5pm that afternoon. The wide range of stalls this year will perfectly showcase all that is superb about this region and the program will, once again, include a great musical feast with Tasmanian artists taking centre stage. Meanwhile the Classic Surfboard Show will be back as well as our cooking classes in the Food & Wine Master Class Marque.   For those who have a flair for cooking up a feast, places always get snapped up fast, so jump onto our website to book your tickets.

The ‘Signature’ Events start on Friday evening with an Exhibition opening at the Waubs Bay Gallery as well as a dining experience at the Lobster Shack. Other events on Saturday and Sunday include Surf lessons at Redbill Beach, Breakfast by the Pool at the Beachfront, Oyster experiences at Freycinet and a day-after party at the iconic Devils Corner Winery. For more information as well as how to book a place at one of these ‘Signature’ events just check out our website.

The Bicheno Food and Wine Festival is in its twelfth year and attendances have been growing.

Our website is full of information about the Festival’s program; the stallholders, the musicians, our chefs and our wonderful region. Tickets are also available on line and are selling fast! Bicheno looks forward to welcoming you so come along and taste the East Coast and its wonderful lifestyle; you won’t be disappointed!

The Tasmanian tourism industry acknowledges the Tasmanian Aboriginal people and their enduring custodianship of lutruwita / Tasmania. We honour 40,000 years of uninterrupted care, protection and belonging to these islands, before the invasion and colonisation of European settlement. As a tourism industry that welcomes visitors to these lands, we acknowledge our responsibility to represent to our visitors Tasmania's deep and complex history, fully, respectfully and truthfully. We acknowledge the Aboriginal people who continue to care for this country today. We pay our respects to their elders, past and present. We honour their stories, songs, art, and culture, and their aspirations for the future of their people and these lands. We respectfully ask that tourism be a part of that future.
